Farming has been Chris Sweeney's lifelong passion, and one could say growing up on a dairy farm had a lot to do with that! Originally from Yarmouth, Sweeney pursued post-secondary education at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. He continued his passion of farming with Eagle Eye Holsteins, now with his wife and three kids. Apart from the cattle, the 200 acre operation grows bountiful fields of mixed crops that are non-GMO. These crops include corn, soy, barley, and winter wheat - most of which are produced for fellow sustainable farmers at Taproot Farms. When Chris isn't busy maintaining his crops, you can find this avid hockey player lacing up his skate for some leisure time on the ice!
